This printmaking kit is my mid range CLASSIC option, suitable for a complete beginner or somebody who tried this relaxing arts activity in the past and wants to revisit, making a great gift. Available with either 1 colour or 2 colours of ink. Schools say age 11 upwards supervised!

Pick any of the READY TO GO colour options. If you want to upgrade to add an extra ink tube, check out our colour chart. Just add that colour name into the personalisation box. NOTE Speedball discontinued the fluorescent colours along with dark yellow and light red (can be seen on our colour chart but are NOT available).

KIT includes:
1) inking tray (plastic A4 size approx)
2) roller (brayer) 6cm rubber specifically for lino print & can use with other crafts
3) lino piece EASYCUT 10x15cm which is around A6 postcard size
4) lino cut tool with 5 blades watch my YouTube to see how each cutting blade produces a different mark!
5) printing ink from professional brand Speedball.
6) artist palette knife (spatula) for moving ink around and mixing
7) pack of 10 x card blanks 6x6inch with envelopes, use as greetings cards or cut in half to use as prints to frame
8) design template sheet with 4 designs, these are my own art prints to inspire you or to copy: a turtle, a jumping hare, a lighthouse, a pair of moons
9) tracing paper to transfer a sketched design from paper to lino using pencil - also a mark making 'get started' template to show you different marks to make with the different blades, here you can learn and practice
10) full written instructions for those who don't want to watch my video tutorials, with handy tips and hints

Upgrade options are an extra lino sheet and ink colours. Select to add and have them included in your kit box. In fact add anything from our shop into your basket and we can pack together in the kit box.

As an Artist myself I use these items in my own printwork. I’m Catherine an Artist based in Liverpool UK where I also teach workshops. I put together this kit along with written step by step instructions, design templates and a series of video tutorials which range from very basic to more advanced techniques. I offer a wide range of printing kits to suit every budget. No matter which kit you choose, each gives you a good starting point from which you can decide if you enjoy it.

Warning - its addictive!! Get mindfully lost in the cutting process, feel uplifted when you come to working with the sumptuous printing inks. Set aside an hour to cut the lino & another hour for printing, enough time to complete a small print project. I am keen to keep a 'handmade' feel to my kits. Also you should have access to a sink or bowl of warm water, rags, scrap paper, scissors, pencil. Everything else the kit provides!! Note - schools recommend age 11 upwards are ok to lino cut, supervised.

An excellent product that provided everything I needed to try linocut print making (I 3D printed a few extra tools, but they're not necessary) Easy to follow instructions, I haven't watched the videos yet but felt confident enough to have a go just from the printouts included. Already made my first print and very happy with the results. I bought an extra piece of lino and cut it in half so I had more room for practice, I modified the design to fit. Super fast delivery, well packaged.
