5 sheets of A4 unprinted, blank rice paper. This paper is great! It will glide through your printer no trouble and no carrier sheet required!
Each sheet measures approx 8.3in x 11.7in or 297mm x 210mm.
Colour: natural white, with numerous white and cream coloured visible fibers. Paper is a bit rough on both sides. Pleasant to the touch, very soft. It contains randomly oriented irregular fibers. That is why the objects decorated with this kind of paper gain such an original look. Rice decoupage paper is ideal both for beginners and advanced hobbyists! It is easier to work with than classical paper or napkins. Ideal for decorating glass and other surfaces: wood, mdf, polystyrene foam. Our paper sticks easily with use of any glue. It is possible to lengthen it slightly while decorating rounded objects. Still hesitating what type of paper to use in your decoration? Choose the best one, which is rice paper.
The rice paper for decoupage does not need any previous preparation. Just glue it and stick.
Each part should be torn away from a sheet, and not cut with scissors. The irregular edge of the rice paper is really easy to hide on the surface of the decorated object. Final work should be sealed with multiple coats of varnish.
Rice paper is extremely user-friendly. It is durable, thin and very easy to stick on.
It does not require special glue and can be used on any surface.
The most important feature of this paper is the characteristic, clear, irregular fibres arranged in different directions.
It is these fibres that give this paper its extraordinary appearance and unique features.
Individual fragments of graphics should be torn out of the sheet (do not use scissors), so that a frayed edge is created. The edge can then easily be blended into a background or another piece of paper.
Rice paper can be used in different techniques such as decoupage, art journal, scrapbooking, mixed media or card making.
