Jojoba oil comes from the seed of the Simmondsia chinensis plant. It is found in Arizona, southern California, and northwestern Mexico. Jojoba extract has been used for thousands of years for its properties in helping protect, moisturize, and cleanse skin without clogging up the pores due to the lightness of the oil and it being a natural non-comedogenic. Jojoba oil is also very similar to the oil that our bodies naturally produce called sebum this is why jojoba oil does not clog the skin pores which often some oils do.
