Make rag rugging easier, faster, and neater with our Ragged Life Wooden Rag Rug Cutting Gauge — the essential tool for quickly cutting fabric strips to the perfect length for proggy (shaggy / proddy / clippy) rag rug making, and other textile crafts.

Why choose the Ragged Life Cutting Gauge?

📏 Exclusive Engraved Width Guide: Our gauge has unique engraving to show the best strip widths for your fabric — no guesswork! A feature you won’t find on any other gauge, perfect for both beginners and seasoned rag rug makers.

🌿 Designed by Rag Rug Experts: This is the same cutting gauge we use daily to make all our Ragged Life rag rugs. Tried, tested, and refined to perfection.

✂️ Protects Your Scissors: Unlike standard gauges, ours has a deep wide groove to stop your fabric scissors catching or blunting on the wood — keeping your precious fabric scissors sharp and safe.

🪵 Quality Wood: Crafted from durable hardwood to last for project after project, with a smooth finish that’s kind to your fabric.

Perfect for:

Shaggy / short shaggy / proggy rag rugs / latch hooking

Please note, this listing is for ONE wooden cutting gauge.
