Maya Blue (Bleu Maya, Azul Maya)
This beautiful Maya Blue Powder is made from natural white clay and organic Indigofera Guatemalensis in my studio in Roanoke, VA.
It was used by the Aztecs and Mayans to decorate codices and pottery and to paint their bodies.
Maya Blue can be used in cold-processed soap making.
It can also be used to make watercolor paint, ink, pastels, and more.
It is not suitable for textile dyeing!

For soap, one dose between 0.5% and 8% of the pigment according to the intensity desired.

Color may vary due to different monitors.
