This is the digital pattern and instructions for the Hillside Houses quilt. This pattern includes instructions for three sizes: a throw (60" x 75"), a wall-hanging (30" x 37") or the mini (15" x 18"). The pattern also includes diagrams for assembly and a coloring page for you to choose your own colors. To see more examples check out the #hillsidehousesqal tag on Instagram.

Fabric requirements for throw size (using AMB - American Made Brand Fabrics) are as follows:

1 yd light blue for left sides of blue houses and rooftops (AMB 87, Light Denim)
1 yd light gray for the right sides of rooftops (AMB 05, Light Gray)

1/2 yard of the following colors:

AMB 97 - Light Sky (for the sky)
AMB 05 - Light Gray (for right sides of rooftops)
AMB 33 - Aqua
AMB 34 - Dark Aqua
AMB 23 - Light Olive (light green)
AMB 34 - Olive (dark green)
AMB 90 - Blue

Fat quarter of each of the following colors:

AMB 75 - Dark Raspberry (dark pink)
AMB 43 - Raspberry (medium pink)
AMB 36 - Orange
AMB 67 - Light Gold (light orange or dark yellow)
AMB 62 - Taupe
AMB 60 - Dark Butter (beige)
AMB 08 - Light yellow (for windows).

You’ll also need 1/2 yard for binding and 4yds for backing.

I was so happy to get this pattern. I've wanted it for so long, and never thought to look on Etsy. Voila!! There it was and now I have it in my grubby little paws. All mine! Thank you so much. The instructions just look awesome and you seem to have covered all the details for the different sizes, colors, etc. Very clear and concise, with good comments on what to do and what not to do to make putting it together easier.

I first saw bits and pieces of this pattern on the net with sufficient information for me to piece and finish a quilt. This scene was familiar to me in the mining valleys of Wales. So my quilt was named "Rhondda Grey" in keeping with a song by Max Boyce. I ordered the pattern for my next try at it. This is the first time I have ordered from PrettyLittleQuilts.
