This coaster set is made from the recycled pages of old Nancy Drew books. The coasters are made of aluminum, with a mylar covering to protect the pages from getting wet, and each has a cork backing.

Each set includes 4 coasters with portions of the title page and illustrations from "The Secret of the Old Clock."

The coasters are round with a 3.5" diameter, and .25" thick.

You can use the picture side up if you have a warm beverage and want to protect your table from scratches, or flip it over and use the cork side to absorb condensation from cold drinks. The picture side is water resistant and able to be cleaned, but they are not dishwasher safe, nor should they be submerged in water.

Bibliophiles, don't fret! 90% of my books come from library discards, when the books are too damaged to be kept on the shelf. The coaster pages are the extra bits left over from when I make the recycled book journals, so very little goes to waste.
