I originally created the knitting machine power adapter to help my wife. Knitting high volumes for charity and markets, she had been experiencing shoulder pain after using this machine for long periods of time. She is now able to knit more -- in less time -- without pain.

DESCRIPTION:
This Addi power adapter is 3D printed to reach a perfect fit on Addi Express and Addi Express King Size.
Our adapters are printed using PETG as it is a more durable and a stronger material than PLA (most 3D printed products on the market use PLA so make sure to compare)
This improved design will fit snugly onto the crank of your knitting machine and doesn’t require any modifications on your machine. It can be placed and removed easily, letting you use your Addi manually or powered in no time.
The standard ¼” steel hex bit will fit securely in any power drills or screw guns without the need of additional adapters.


DISCLAIMER:
We tested thoroughly these adapters on several knitting machines to make sure it doesn’t induce premature wear. We recommend using this power adapter at moderate speed (maximum 180rpm) as these knitting machines are designed to operate manually.
We strongly discourage the use of power drills! Power drills are designed to rotate at higher speed which will damage your machine and the adapter. Also pressing halfway on the trigger will get quickly tiring on your finger…
