Bluebirds are a symbol of love and good luck in the garden. Each spring, I eagerly anticipate their return to our meadow nesting boxes. They always give me pause—there is something magical about these birds that holds my gaze, like finding an unexpected wildflower among the native grasses.

This sculpture celebrates these beloved native birds with rich blues and intricate botanical impressions.

These sculptures are cast in stone but are light enough that they can be hung from a tree, garden gate, fence, or siding. They invite pause, year-round, in the garden and are durable enough to have permanent residence in an outdoor space. The surface was created by combined intricate carving with the imprint of natural materials from my garden. Each sculpture is hand painted by me with a weather resistant oil paint.

Each sculpture arrives neatly wrapped in Kraft paper and tied with raffia ribbon, ready for gift-giving. Direct shipped gifts arrive with a handwritten note.
