Highlights
Three pumpkins, three shapes, three colours that together look exactly like an autumn afternoon feels.
This hand-knitted wool set includes a round melange pumpkin, a long copper one, and a pale butternut — each a different shape borrowed from the real harvest, each knitted from soft wool yarn and filled with pure sheep wool. They have that satisfying weight and warmth that only natural materials give, the kind that makes a child pick them up and immediately want to arrange them, sort them, carry them one by one to wherever the play is happening.
In Waldorf education, the seasons are met with real objects and natural materials — things that can be touched, held, and understood through the hands. These pumpkins belong on the autumn nature table among acorns, beeswax candles, and fallen leaves, marking the harvest season with quiet beauty. They're the right size for small hands to carry into imaginative play: a market stall, a harvest festival, a kitchen where something important is being cooked.
For toddlers they are perfect — soft, safe, and irresistibly squeezable. For a Waldorf family's seasonal shelf they are exactly right. As a gift through the whole of autumn they arrive already feeling like the season itself.
