The instructions say to add seam allowance for all pieces except windowframe and window. I think now that I have made this the rocket would have been slimmer if I hadn't added to the cone, cabin, and base. But it turned out OK. A lot of handwork sewing the legs on but I also used glue to help hold them in place for sewing. Also I edge stitched with my machine around windowframe and window. This was for a 5 year old boy.
