High fired and glazed ceramic herb markers, made from glazed kiln fired stoneware clay

Minimalist design and available in a complete set of 10.

Coriander, chives, basil, dill, sage, mint, rosemary, parsley, thyme and oregano.

These have been under glazed, bisque fired and glazed and fired again for 12 hours. They are a beautiful addition to any herb garden.

These can also be made to order with your own herb/plant and colour requirements.

Due to the nature of creating these markers no two will be exactly the same, these are hand built not mass produced or cast. This adds to the charm of the pieces that I create.

Thank you for taking the time to have a look at my items.

Everything listed in my shop is lovingly handmade by myself in my studio located Under the Tree, at the bottom of our garden in The New Forest.

Each item is either hand built or wheel thrown using stoneware clay. Once formed they are left to dry naturally, regularly turned to help prevent cracking or warping.
Once leather hard they are trimmed and ‘tidied’ before going in to the kiln for the 24 hour bisque fire. Once cooled they are underglazed or glazed before going back in the kiln for a 24 hour glaze firing. In some cases my pieces will be fired for a third time for example if they have a 22kt decal on them.

Each piece is handled so many times throughout the process that they all become unique and have their own handmade charm.

Every item you choose to purchase from Under The Tree makes me do a little ‘Thank You Dance’
