Colorado Rocky Mountains embroidery with a red Jeep in the front - gift it, hang it, dream it and live through it.

Inspired by the beautiful Colorado Rocky Mountains, I embroidered this piece based on a picture (shown in product images) I took during my ski trip in Colorado.

Hand embroidered on a white cotton fabric with watercolor base. The 7” hoop is finished with a white felt backing and a walnut brown stain.

Why I embroidered this piece - A bit of a backstory. We rented a compact car for the trip and to our surprise the rental car company gave us this jeep. I just found it so cool to drive along scenic highways in Colorado in this screamingly RED Jeep. When we stopped at this place (in Grand Junction) with the Rockies in the background, the sunset, the jeep, the remoteness... the scene was just strikingly beautiful.

WOW! I mean just wow. Judith is an extremely talented embroidery artist. She captured our cat's 'naughty but cute' spirit so accurately in the portrait.
