To clean acrylic, use a small quantity of soap and lukewarm water, rinse well with clean water, and dry with a soft cotton cloth or chamois. Paper masking can sometimes be difficult to remove and/or some of the adhesive from the masking can remain on the piece. When this happens, soak the piece in warm soapy water to loosen the masking and/or adhesive. You can use rubbing alcohol to remove any glue residue or if you have painted the etch on any opaque, glitter and translucent acrylics, however do NOT use on mirror acrylic. CAUTION-DO NOT USE: Window cleaning fluids, scouring compounds, gritty cloths, household scouring compounds, lacquer thinner, benzene, leaded or ethyl gasoline, strong solvents containing alcohol, acetone or ammonia.
