How to measure my dog?

Each pattern includes instructions on how to measure your dog in the item description. It is also shown in the attached 'How to measure' photo. It is important that your dog is in the standing positions while measuring it. Sizes are specified in the item description and in the attached 'Sizing chart' photo.

I accidentally bought wrong size. Can I replace it?

We are sorry. Orders including digital files cannot be replaced nor refunded. To avoid inconveniences we suggest to measure your dog properly and select the right breed and size before ordering it. If there are any doubts about right pattern and size, feel free to contact us.

What paper sizes are used for printing?

FancyPetPatts patterns are ready to print on paper sizes: A4, Letter and Poster. Files with extensions _A4.pdf and _Letter.pdf are set up for printing at home, to A4 or US Letter paper size. A pattern file with an extension _Poster.pdf is ready to print as a single-sheet in your local copy shop (Staples for example). Poster format files are setup for printing on 90 cm / 36˝ wide paper rolls. The length of the print depends on the pattern size. We give you a permission to print a maximum of 3 copies of each pattern for your use.

Can I sell items made by your patterns?

FancyPetPatts patterns are for PERSONAL use only.

How much fabric do I need?

Materials for all sizes of each pattern are specified in the sewing instructions.

This is A TUTORIAL on how to knit a cable dog hat in three different sizes:

Size XSmall - fits dogs with head girth (above the eyes) 25-29 cm (10-11.5 inches)
Size Small - fits dogs with head girth (above the eyes) 30-34 cm (12-13.5 inches)
Size Medium - fits dogs with head girth (above the eyes) 35-38 cm (14-15 inches)

HOW TO MEASURE:
If you measure your dog's head above the eyes and under and around its jaw, you will get the right measurement (see the attached picture).

The pattern of each size consists of 10 pages. The process of knitting is illustrated with photos and detailed descriptions.

Measurements in this pattern are shown with metric and inch systems.

SKILL LEVEL:
Intermediate (basic knit and purl stitches, simple shaping, basic cables knitting, flat knitting, short rows, knitting in the round with double-pointed needles)

Language: English

YARN and NEEDLES:
- Worsted Weight/Aran Yarn (cca. 200 m/100 g)
- DPN knitting needles 3 and 4 mm

GAUGE:
