PDF Women's Western Stretch Show Shirt Pattern With Cuffs

This listing is for the download of a PDF sewing pattern to make a woman's western stretch show shirt with cuffs in Misses Sizes 6-24 (see sizing chart). IT IS NOT FOR A PHYSICAL PAPER PATTERN. The shirt requires stretchy fabric and has a front zipper, cuffs, and two collar options. Collar B has longer and narrower peaks than Collar A. The front facing, collar, and cuffs are made from a contrasting woven fabric. The shirt can be worn tucked in or outside of the pants. This basic shirt is ready for your embellishments!

FABRICS/ZIPPERS

This pattern requires a stretch knit with at least 20% crosswise stretch (4” stretches to 5"). When made from a fabric with the minimum required crosswise stretch of 20%, the shirt will be fairly close-fitting but not skintight. When made from fabrics with more stretch, especially those containing lycra, the fit will be looser. The collar, cuffs, and front facings are made from medium weight non-stretch woven fabric. Use fusible interfacing for the collar and cuffs- stiffer interfacings will give a crisper look to the collar. Lighter weight interfacings can be used for the front facings and along the zippered opening. Use a lightweight one-way separating zipper.

Required zipper length (if you can’t find the exact length, get the next largest)- Size 6: 20”, Sizes 8-22: 22”, Size 24: 24”

Also needed: 1 1/2 YD of 22” wide interfacing, two 7/16" buttons, thread.
