This Sweet little Tree of Life pendant features 99.9% pure fine silver wire woven around a turquoise stone cabochon to resemble a twisted Bonsai tree. This gorgeous stone was carefully selected for it's lovely colour and pattern.

The pendant measures approximately 1 inch (25 mm) across and 2 1/2 inches (65 mm) from the top of the bail to the bottom. This pendant comes with a 24 inch silver chain with an easy to use lobster claw clasp.

DICHROIC GLASS is a thin glass film made of fused micro-thin layers of metal oxides such as gold, silver, titanium, chromium, aluminium, zirconium, magnesium and silica which are vaporised by an electron beam in a vacuum chamber. A primitive version of this process dates back to at least the 4th century AD, however in the 1950's NASA improved the process using modern science and technology to create micro-thin, super reflective glass film to be used as anti-radiation reflective heat shields for space craft. The incredibly vibrant colours and reflective properties of this material caught the eye of artisans who began to create beautiful art pieces out of dichroic glass.

Caring for your SILVER - This pendant is made with Fine Silver, which is 99.9% pure. (Sterling Silver is usually about 92.5% pure)

Sterling and Fine Silver will tarnish/darken over time, however I know a really neat trick to brighten up silver quickly and without having to buy expensive polishing products. All you need is tin foil, baking soda and water!

1 - line a bowl with tinfoil (shiny side up) and place the silver item(s) on the foil
2 - Boil water, add baking soda and stir (1 tblsp per cup of water)
3 - Pour boiling water/baking soda mixture into the bowl (fully covering the silver item(s)) let stand for 5 minutes and rinse- Seriously this WORKS!
