Vintage Care Bears Jigsaw, 1986

A vintage Care Bears jigsaw puzzle by St. Michael for Marks and Spencer in 1986, ages 4 and up.

Dimensions of box: 25.5cm x 30.5cm x 2.6cm approximately. Dimensions of jigsaw: 24cm x 29cm approximately, twenty pieces.

*Condition*
A vintage Care Bears jigsaw, in original box. The pieces are made of thick card and all pieces are present. The box is in pretty poor condition, with severe wear, scuffing and rubbing throughout. There is also a lot of creasing with some scratching and denting. The lid is also a bit dirty and marked. The top of the box lid has been a bit squashed and there is creasing at each corner, as well as heavy creases to the sides. There is a lot of heavy scuffing to all edges of the lid. There are tears to the bottom left and top right corners of the box, at the corner seams. There are also remnants of sticky tape at these tears, which has damaged and discoloured the box. The sides of the lid are quite bashed and dented, with some misshaping and lots of heavy wear and scuffing. There is some marking, scuffing and wear to the inside of the lid.

The bottom of the box is also quite dented and squashed and there is a lot of marking - including quite a lot of water marking and staining to the underneath. There is a lot of wear to the bottom part of the box, including bumping and scuffing and there is wear and denting to all the box edges. There is tearing and damage to one of the box corners, which has come apart at the joint. The inside of the box also has quite a bit of marking, wear, creasing and scuffing.
The jigsaw pieces are a bit worn, with some wear and scuffing to the edges. There are also a few marks and scratches, particularly to the edges and corners. There is also some minor creasing and light bending to some of the pieces. The piece with the sun on has a large circular heavy dent near its top edge, as shown in the third photo. There are some marks and creasing to the underside of the jigsaw as well.
