We highly recommend you print your coloring page to heavy cardstock. The example above was printed to 110lb vellum cover stock.
If you are not familiar with grayscale coloring, I highly suggest you search it online. There are tones of tutorials out there to show you how fun this can be. It allows you to color the images while retaining all the original shading of the piece. Kind of like coloring an old black & white photo. I'm sure many of you would love to see some of your favorite Myka Jelina Art in a different color scheme, well now you can. I have personally rendered each image from my original paintings to allow for maximum color possibilities. Hope you enjoy your new coloring experience and be sure to let me know how you like it.

A personal note from the artist...
Although I have been on the Gothic fantasy art scene for about 16 years or so now, I am relatively new to the coloring book world (only a couple of years now). It has been quite an adventure to say the least. Some might remember my work in places like Spencer Gifts, Target and Hot Topic from many moons ago, and more recently available as statues, trinket boxes, jewelry etc. in shops worldwide.
Quite honestly though, my favorite project to date has been creating coloring pages from my existing portfolio of acrylic paintings. Since I hand ink my coloring pages, It has allowed me to re-visit my older pieces as well as create new ones with coloring in mind. More than anything though, I love the interaction with the fans & my art. Knowing it has taken on a life of its own and the story carried on by the colorist brings me so much joy. I look forward every day to seeing the beauty you all create with my art and how the story continues. Again, thank you for the opportunity to connect with you.
Artist Bio:
Myka Jelina is a full time fantasy artist born 1973 in North Carolina but currently living in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks. She is the mother of two adult daughters, two son-in-laws, grandmother to one beautiful grandpixie as well as wife to her supportive husband & best friend of 16 years. Her acrylic paintings are easily recognized by the eclectic, glossy eyed beauties poised in intricate scenes of Gothic, modern and classical adornment.
Myka tells that her artwork draws from the delicate relationships between light, darkness, beauty and balance. Coming as a shock to some, Myka is a painter in the traditional sense, whose favorite painting mediums are acrylic paints and wooden panels.
