Custom and personalized orders

Each piece in our store is custom-made and is individually handcrafted (unless it is stated otherwise in the item title or description), therefore it shall not be reimbursed unless it has been received damaged (in such a situation, the customer is obliged to draw up a damage protocol in the presence of courier) or has hidden defects.

Pillows within 7 days and poufs and ottomans within 10-14 days. Leather scrap orders go out the same or next business day. Orders received on Fridays after 12:00 PM EST will ship the following Monday.

For our poufs, ottomans, and pillows we use the highest quality full and top grain leather. Full grain leather is leather which has not been altered beyond hair removal. It is the most premium of leathers, retaining all of the hide’s original texture and markings. Top grain leather has been buffed and graining added for a more consistent look. Imperfections such as variations in color, range marks, small scratches, occasional insect bites, and folds in the leather are natural characteristics of these ottomans (if you choose the leather option). They all come about either during the life of the cow, or sometimes during the tanning process. The ottoman will show scratches and wear, and acquire a patina unique to the way you use the ottoman.

Custom and personalized orders

Each item is individually sewn by our seamstresses. Utilizing their years of knowledge in the field, our team takes time and care to ensure that each item is sewn to withstand the rigors of everyday use. When creating poufs they ensure each pouf is lined and has fully enclosed seams. Once completed the item is inspected to guarantee it meets our high quality standards. Each item sent out is made with love and great attention to detail. From start to finish, we pride ourselves on making the finest leather goods in the market.

We accept returns of undamaged (no tears, wear, stains, etc.) items within 7 days of delivery. You will be responsible for a RETURN FEE that is equal to the ORIGINAL Shipping Charge as well as the Shipping Charge to return the item. Items must be returned in the ORIGINAL BOX AND PACKAGING, otherwise a refund will not be processed.

Every item in our store is made in our Atlanta, Georgia workshop by skilled craftspeople.

DIY Pouf & Ottoman Filling

You'll need about 13.5 cubic feet or 45 LBS of fill for the 36"x36"x18" (30 LBS for 30"x30"x18"). There's a few ways to fill it - below are just some examples: 1. You can order bean bag fill or shredded foam fill from GillowsCo/ETSY or Amazon. (https://amzn.to/36NxsDI). Reminder: you'll need about 30 - 45 LBS of fill depending on ottoman/pouf size. 2. Old/off-season bedding like comforters, duvets, etc. 3. Off-season clothes like heavy winter jackets do great at filling the ottoman up and acts as a second closet!

1 lb. BAG SHOWN (15-20 pieces) of Small Italian Scrap Leather Squares for small to medium craft projects. Each rough scrap square will measure, on average, 4"x6” up to 5"x9"”. Sometimes a piece will be larger, very rarely smaller. EACH 1 lb. BAG WILL CONTAIN 15-20 PIECES.

PLEASE let us know at checkout if you have a preference of "mostly bright colors" or "neutrals with a few bright colors". If there is NO note, we will assume that you just want a mix of both!

PLEASE REMEMBER that the "Bovine" life includes many run-ins with insects and worse, barbed-wire fences! Most of our leather is Genuine Full-Grain and Top-Grain leather, meaning it HASN'T been processed for a consistent appearance across the hide. Though this means that you are getting more of what "Nature" has produced in it's most beautiful, but imperfect state, there will be some flaws, insect bite marks, scratches and stretch marks! A few of our leathers HAVE been processed for more of a consistent appearance for commercial seating, but these are the exception, not the norm.

Our leather is CHROMIUM TANNED, upholstery leather remnants.

The images in the listing are for illustration purposes and shows the types and quantity of leather you will receive. As these are remnants, our leather options are constantly changing! We will try to include as many colors as possible in each pack, though they may be slightly different than our images.

Our leather is from our upholstery projects and includes both full-grain and top-grain (embossed and softer leathers) ranging in thickness from 1-2mm. Handy for all sorts of craft projects, jewelry making, bookbinding, purse making and leather craft. We can't take photos of each scrap bag as it takes so much time and I want to keep the costs down for you! If you'd like a specific color, please let us know BEFORE purchasing so we can make sure I have what you need.
