After a painful period of trial and error I finally discovered Tulip Etimo crochet hooks and never went back. The little info cart at the front page of each pattern tells you what size I use for my patterns.

Since they can be Turkish brands, I specifically list what kind of yarn it is, so that you can easily find your home country’s version of it. Also check out yarnsub.com, they are awesome at that!
