WHAT IS A PRESERVED FLOWER?

Preserved in this context means that the flower has been treated by the use of dyes and/or chemicals. The resulting flower requires no water, and will remain beautiful and vibrant for many months. Preserved flowers and petals should not be used in wet or damp conditions, and may stain fabrics and surfaces.

I HAVE A SPECIFIC REQUIREMENT. CAN I TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT IT?

Our team are on hand to answer any questions you may have. We understand that detail and quality is vital for your special occasion and can tailor our products to suit your needs. Contact us via email at enquiries@petalsandroses.com

DO I HAVE TO CHOOSE JUST ONE COLOUR OF PETAL CONFETTI?

You can choose one colour or a pick a few different colours and mix them together to create your perfect mix!

WHAT IS A FREEZE DRIED FLOWER OR PETAL?

Freeze drying is a scientific process in which fresh flowers are frozen, and then the ice (water) is slowly removed under vacuum. The flowers mostly retain their original shape, colour and size. Freeze dried flowers are long lasting, environmentally friendly and biodegradable. They are beautiful and can be kept for months.

HOW SHOULD I STORE MY PETALS?

They should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and out of light, in their original packaging.

WILL THE PETALS STAIN?

With the exception of the dyed petals, our freeze dried petals will not stain, have no chemicals added and are 100% biodegradable. The Chelsea Blue, Apple Green, Mulberry and Rainbow rose petal confetti have however been dyed, and we cannot therefore guarantee that they will remain colourfast.

All of our orders are dispatched Monday to Friday and delivered within 3-5 working days. For further details please see our Delivery information page.

HOW MANY PETALS WILL I NEED?

If you are using your petals for a wedding, 1 Litre of petals is approximately 8-10 handfuls. You tend to need to provide confetti for just over half your guests as not everyone will want to throw. If you are creating a floor covering, or scattering the petals for a romantic gesture then 1 litre of petals will cover roughly 1 square metre.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER MY PETALS?

We prefer to send the petals for your wedding or event up to 3 months before your big day. This means you can order and receive your items well in advance of the day. We can however send products at short notice too when necessary – with a next working day delivery option being available Monday to Friday on orders placed before midday. If you order on Friday before midday with next working day delivery, your order will arrive the following Monday.
