The bolster rectangle is a comfortable cushion filled with buckwheat hulls to support your posture during meditation, yoga, stretching and sleep, both when sitting or lying down. It is widely used for restorative yoga poses, for example in the Supta Baddha Konasana position or, if you prefer, the reclined butterfly.

The cushion has a zippered cover that allows you to add or remove buckwheat hulls. A cotton strap allows you to carry it with ease.

Stuffing:
The bolster is filled with buckwheat hulls from Quebec. In view of sustainable development, this stuffing has the advantage of being recycled, renewable, durable and compostable. In addition, buckwheat hulls are hypoallergenic, anti-mite and anti-bacterial.

Maintenance:
Avoid placing the cushion on a dirty or dusty surface . To wash the cover, remove the lining and handwash with cold soapy water. Let the cover air dry and take this opportunity to air out the buckwheat hulls in the sun on a large cloth.

I was a little nervous ordering my very first bolster, but it is so much better than I could have imagined! It’s made with great care and quality, unbleached cotton cover, buckwheat hulls. It’s firm, but molds to my body nicely. Great dimensions! I am loving using it for my restorative home yoga practice. It has helped me in my body, deep tissue stretches in leaps and bounds. I love that it’s made in Canada and Quebec. I Love the story about the shop. I will add, as this is very important for me, this Bolster is great as it has zero chemical smells. Some fabrics and things off-gas production scents that give me headaches. These bolsters do not and it’s something I am grateful for! My husband and I love our new bolsters and I will be buying more for family and friends.
