Hand tooled brown leather open carry OWB pancake holster for 1911 pistols, featuring a tooled basketweave pattern on front in an allover rich brown color. This holster is in a slightly canted pancake style for any outside the waistband open carry. Choose your preference of right or left handed from the drop down near the Add to Cart button. Has dark brown inside, and black edges & stitching. This piece is an open muzzle design, and will work for most 1911 pistols. For reference, it is molded with a Springfield Armory 1911 A1 .45ACP G.I., 5" barrel. Will fit up to 1.75" wide belts.
All of my holsters are entirely hand tooled from start to finish.
-Leather is hand-cut (I do not use die cuts.)
-Pattern is applied with hand tools (I do not use an engraving or embossing machine.)
-Holster is hand sewn with a double saddle stitch for extra durability (I do not use a sewing machine.)
-Holster is hand dyed (I do not use pre-colored leather.)
-Holster is hand formed to its specific model (I do not use a vacuum mold or similar.)
-All finishing work is done by hand.

This is a made to order item. Because your item will be custom made entirely by hand (and is made of a natural material), there may be *slight* variances from the piece shown in this listing. Made to order holsters are ready to ship within 1-2 weeks (likely sooner) of your order. Keep your leather items free of excess moisture & humidity whenever possible. Be sure to remove your leather jewelry before swimming or showering. My pieces are not treated for liquid exposure, and are not intended to be wet. Please remember that leather is a natural material. It can be scuffed, scratched, nicked etc. Treat with care and consider semi-fragile.

Leather is a natural material, and as such there's naturally going to be variances from piece to piece. This may include a darker or lighter shade of any particular color (depending on how the leather takes the dye), slight variances in the thickness of the leather, or small natural marks or distressing on the leather itself. My designs are not machine-applied, they are hand-applied. Being hand tooled, there may be *slight* variances in pattern/design from piece to piece.

Not at all what I was hoping for. Leather was extremely thin, stitching was rough to say the least. Guess it explains the price though. Caveat emptor. Maybe next time.
