Easy/Advanced Beginner - Advanced Beginner – This crochet baby blanket pattern uses basic stitches such as chains, single crochet and double crochet. There is one more advanced stitch, the crossed double crochet. This stitch isn’t too difficult to work and is explained in detail. If you can work a double crochet and you know how to skip a stitch, you can work the crossed double crochet.

This is a great advanced beginner project as it only uses single crochet and double crochet. The “special stitch” is explained in depth, so you can feel confident tackling this larger project.
It’s also great for experienced crocheters who want a timeless pattern that takes them back to basics.

★MATERIALS REQUIRED:

For this crochet baby blanket pattern pattern, you will need a Medium (4) weight yarn of your choice.
You will need approximately 23 ounces/655 grams/1,400 yards.

I used Yarn Bee's Baby Bee in Stork Struck. This yarn is 50% tencel and 50% acrylic. Tencel is similar to cotton as it is a bamboo fiber. Any 50% cotton/50% acrylic yarn will work great. A good "dupe" is Caron Cotton Cakes, for example.

Scissors
Stitch markers, if you prefer them.
