AIR DRY CLAY ART DOLL SCULPTURE

Meet Jaya! She is an art doll made with lots of love and care

SIZE : 37.5 / 10.5 cm

She is made of a special clay, my own formula

Her skirt is made of a beautiful piece of vintage fabric decorated with a hand made embroidery combined with a special glue so that it can stay beautifully stiff no matter how you would like to move her. The drawing of her portrait and torso are made with a pencil. The flower on her head is painted with acrylic and then coated with a glossy varnish, unlike the rest of her torso which wears a matte varnish. Both her head, torso and arms are varnished

Her arms are movable and joined to the torso. The skirt isn’t removable (it's glued in place)

This doll sculpture can stand on her own (on her skirt) somewhere safely, away from small hands, direct lighting and any source of heat or water, this is not a doll for children, it's a special designed art object. She can be an amazing art object to display on a shelf

These dolls are delicate and need to be handled with care. Do not place her in or near extreme temperatures or in direct sunlight. She is not made of porcelain, so it does not compare in any way to the fragility of this material, she is made of air dry clay. You will have to keep her away from water

The art objects are entirely hand made. You may well see tiny imperfections and signs of a handmade item. This is absolutely normal, that's why it's called handmade. Those will only add a certain unicity to the item
