Each skein of Merino Jewels is 50g, 66 yards of gorgeous Aran weight single ply merino, hand dyed by a true color artist. It is also the softest merino this side of of a Certain Luxurious Goat Hair Fiber*, I'm not kidding! This yarn retailed for $15 to $16 per skein in the local yarn shops. I'm listing all that I have, so be sure to buy what you'll need for your project as it will probably won't be available again!
When the owner of Pagewood Farm hand dyed luxury yarns closed her business in 2014, she sold off the remaining skeins of her spectacular yarns. I stumbled on the sales and bought all that I could afford 'cause it was so beautiful. Very few of the skeins had labels, but as I bought directly from the artist/owner I can guarantee that they are genuine. The merino is all super soft, the colors are gorgeous, saturated and better than my photos show. Since every monitor will show colors differently, I'm happy to answer convo questions and try to describe the colors more accurately. Many of the yarn listings are grouped in similar or complimentary color combos. Detailed information about Pagewood Farm yarn is still available on Ravelry.
The yarns have been stored in moth proof containers since I bought them, some have been wound into balls. These yarns are listed at 50% of original retail and all profit will be donated to the local animal rescue group East County Animal Rescue or the San Diego Humane Society.
* Apparently, if an item is not *made* of a Certain Luxurious Goat Hair Fiber, Etsy does will not allow me to use That Word as a modifier in the description. If you know yarn, you know what fiber I'm writing about.
