Title - 28 Heads - Everybody Represented.

The second piece in my 'Corona Kids' series. The characters I've worked up and into my sculptures are representations of our society in a snap-shot of today. Multi-cultured and gender blended yet the corona cloud hangs over us, but still we feel close and still we celebrate our colour , diversity and individualism.

The materials I've used to bring this piece to you are mainly wood, the backboard and the figures are birch ply. The face masks are a mix of copper, wood, thick acrylic and painted canvas. The diversity of materials reflecting our lives.

Regarding installation, I've installed two keyhole slots to facilitate hanging the piece with an option of which heads are up or down (see photos)

This piece measures:

Height: 21 inches (53cm)

Width: 46 inches (116cm)

Depth: 1 inch (1.5cm)

Two recessed keyhole slots are installed on the back, one above the other. I did this in order to allow switching the piece around - when you feel like having the upside down heads up, one just turns the piece round. The piece is ready to hang with just one screw in a wall. The keyhole hanging method also allows the piece to hang flush and secure to the wall.

The artwork has been signed on the back with the date.
