PATTERN: Shadow Triangles Blanket - Loop Yarn Finger Knitting (PDF Download)

The Shadow Triangles Blanket is a repeating pattern of triangles, alternating with knit and purl stitches. To get perfect edges to your triangles, you're going to skip stitches and double-knit stitches - this one is a bit trickier than it looks, but yields a very crisp effect.

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate.

SUGGESTED MATERIALS: 5 balls of Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g) (Image shown is the colour ‘Dark Gray’).

SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 44” by 55” (111.5 cm by 140 cm).

PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.

Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Bernat Alize Puffy (European) yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions. You will also need more balls/skeins to complete the pattern as is.
