This is a clear static cling sticker for your Volkswagen bus speedometer. It sticks right to the glass and will give you instant conversion from MPH to KPH at a glance! It is an exact copy of one I found in a bus I had once except this is static cling so you do not have to make the commitment of a permanent sticker!
-I also now offer the exact opposite of this sticker for Euro spedo conversion to American MPH-

A couple things I noticed when making this sticker were that there is a thick line at 50 KPH which would be roughly 30 MPH. Why would this be notable? I know there are little marks on a beetle and early bus speedometer which indicate when to shift(the poor mans tach.) but this one is a mystery to me. The other oddity is the #2 in dead center of the sticker. I can only imagine it would be a stock or version number but why in the dead center? I was going to eliminate it but that wouldn't have been true to the original so....there you have it. If you know something about this sticker I would be very interested to hear about it.
-Thanks To Etsy user noo222 we have a very good explanation:
" In a lot of Western Europe the standard speed in residential areas is 50kph. So I reckon it's to make it easier to sit on the speed limit. "
