Specifications

wooden coconut bowl - smoothie bowl - buddha bowl

Our natural coconut bowl and spoon sets are perfect for salads, buddha bowls or acai smoothie bowls. Taking a zero waste approach, each handmade coconut shell bowl is made from reclaimed coconut shells, sourced from Vietnam. They've been sanded, beautifully carved and finished with vegan-friendly coconut oil. Each coconut bowl comes with a smooth ebony wood spoon, making it a lovely plastic free and eco friendly gift set.

Over the last few years, coconuts have rocketed in popularity due to their numerous health and beauty benefits. While the coconut milk, flesh, oil and husk are used for a variety of purposes, 98% of coconut shells are disposed of as waste. This means that millions of discarded shells are burnt each year, releasing harmful CO2 and methane into the atmosphere.

You'll also find a little Battle Green logo carved into each bowl 😊. A product of nature, the bowls each have a unique shape and pattern, but the size is typically around 13-14cm in diameter and 6cm in height.

This set includes 1 x banded coconut bowl and 1 x smooth wooden Buddha spoon so you can get stuck into those smoothie bowls straight away! The spoon also boasts some zero waste credentials: each is made from reclaimed off-cuts of wood from the furniture-making industry! The bowls are also suitable for warm and cold snacks and meals.

Care instructions: These bowls are tough! They will last for years if treated with care, and it is best to hand wash them and leave them to air dry. Do not leave to soak for prolonged periods. Not suitable for microwaves or dishwashers. You can even top up the polish on the bowl with a little coconut oil, if needed, down the line.

All Battle Green products are sent using biodegradable, plastic-free (and often recycled) packing materials.
