ETERA is a unique ceramic oil burner in organic shape that combines all four of the basic elements: EARTH, FIRE, WATER, AIR. Its soft organic lines make it a sculpture of timeless form. Its energy positive shape can make it seem like a hand or a tree... It's a decorative as well as an extremely useful item that combines female and male and thus fills the space with natures harmony.

The story of ETERA
I distinctly remember the day that ETERA took shape. It was in autumn of 1996. Thanks to a momentary inspiration my hands made the shape in almost a single stroke from a single piece of clay. The shape has remained unchanged for more than 20 years and is the only product from our shop that remained on the market for such a long time. We could say it's our most iconic product and therefore a synonym for AB DESIGN. It carries my perception of nature and my style of design embedded in it.
There have been three generations of ETERA, they differ in the surface finish and glazes used.

Using ETERA
Water is poured into the top cup and a few drops of essential oil is added. Once the candle is lit the shape, the openings and dimensions of the product help quick warming of the water. The temperature of the water stays in the optimal range between 50 and 60 degrees C (122 to 140 degrees F) for the whole duration of the candle burn and thus enables constant evaporation of essential oil. Thanks to this there is no overheating that would harm the properties of the essential oil. The size (1 dl / 0.35 cups) of the cup ensures there is enough water for continuous evaporation.

The cup can be washed in the dishwasher.

Thanks to only using natural materials the product won't burden the environment once thrown away.
