Highlights
This is an Exquisite Antique 9kt. Rolled Gold Mourning Hair Locket. There is a lock of hair inside from a time long ago. There is glass on both sides. It measures approx. 1 3/4”" in diameter. It is beautifully decorated with a fancy outside border. The round top bail is fixed. There are a couple flea bites to the glass. In the mid to late 1800's it was quite common for loved ones to hold dear to them a locket of hair or picture of the deceased loved one in a locket. This mourning locket brooch has hair. A Treasure from a time long ago.......perfect for that special Lady in your life!
