Cute tie side knicker SEWING PATTERN with full bottom coverage and ribbon ties.

The feminine and pretty the TIE SIDE knicker sewing pattern is designed for woven fabric and is idea for a weekend sleep-in or breakfast in bed.

The sewing pattern is available in Australian sizes 8-14. For international customers a size conversion chart can be found on my blog www.themakersjournal.blogspot.com

Size 10 - Bust 86cm, Waist 68cm, Hip 98cm
Size 12 - Bust 91cm, Waist 73cm, Hip 103cm
Size 14 - Bust 96cm, Waist 78cm, Hip 108cm

I made the photo sample from a Liberty print floral called Tatum in aqua found at www.tessuti.com.au in Melbourne. My pattern has been developed for lightweight woven fabrics and I recommend printed cottons or soft cotton blends; small prints work best. For the gusset I used a light and stretchy swimsuit tricot lining.

I print my SEWING PATTERNS onto 100% recycled paper and then vacuum pack the contents to minimise it's impact on our precious world.

This pattern includes.....
- Step by step sewing instructions
- Detailed diagrams to help you along the way
- A small fabric swatch to guide you when selecting your fabric
- The layplan which shows you how to arrange the pattern on the fabric, and
- A list of notions you will need and the fabric requirements
*Fabric and other notions are not included with this pattern

Skills you need
This pattern is suitable for an average sewer and will take only a few hours to complete. Skills required include straight stitching, zig-zag stitch, attaching knicker elastic and hand sewing (slip stitch).

Attaching knicker elastic can be a bit tricky the first time so to help you along I've included a step by step guide on my blog http://themakersjournal.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-attach-knicker-elastic.html
