14k gold filled:
To maintain the beauty of your jewelry, whether it is gold filled or solid gold, it is best to use water and mild soap to clean. Salt water, chlorine (swimming pools) and all heavy detergents and cleaning agents should be avoided.

To prevent scratches, each piece should be stored individua

Gold filled jewelry is very high quality, tarnish resistant and when cared for properly a gold filled piece will last a lifetime. 14K gold filled is a thick layer of 14K gold mechanically bonded under high heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass or copper. Gold filled does not peel like plated or "dipped" products. Nor does it tarnish as readily as silver.
