Can I expect a handmade product to be as perfect as a mass production one ?

85% of the work made in our products are made by human hands. This means that you can expect slight cosmetic imperfections consistent with a handmade process. Our production is not a standardised industrialised carbon copy product, and as a result it might present some minor irregularities in the stitching, slight leather blemishes due to the vegetable tanning process. These irregularities are what makes the end product special and unique. You can say that you have an item that no one else have in the world!

Custom and personalised orders

We can make some changes in our footwear, like mix of materials, eyelets with different colours, hooks instead of eyelets, and many others. Unfortunately we can't change the physical look/structure of the footwear, to do that we would need to create a new form, cutters and that is very complicated and expensive. If you have any doubts regarding a potential personalization, feel free to contact us.

Sizing it's officially a problem! :) Everyone feet it's different, and following our experience is very complicated to follow a specific table of size conversions. Our footwear it's unisex, and we use the European sizing scale. We are available to give our best information/opinion regarding sizes, so if you are in doubt, please contact us and we will try to give our best to help you.

Our footwear can last for many years, but for that you need to give some care and attention. Leather: Every time they get wet and muddy, use a dry cloth to wipe off your boots and let them dry out. Your boots will thank you if you put some good leather conditioner or light cream on them every now and then. Stay away from heavy oils or polishes that makes them shiny but doesn't actually nourish the leather. Cork: Every time they get wet and muddy, use a dry, or slight wet cloth to wipe off your boots and let them dry out. With cork you don't need to use any conditioner, just let them breed naturally. Never let them with mud, otherwise when they dry the mud will crack the cork. Burel : A brush and a wet cloth to clean them and let them dry

What is the Goodyear Welted System?

The Goodyear welt technique of footwear construction is one that guarantees superior quality in the final product. The description of this technique, which follows, should give you an idea of why the production of this type of footwear is also much more intensive in terms of manual labour than other more basic techniques. The result is highly valued for being relatively waterproof by minimizing water penetration into the insole and the relative ease of resoling as long as the upper remains viable. Welted shoes are more expensive to manufacture than those mass produced by automated machinery with moulded soles.

Do you accept returns and exchanges? Who pays for shipment/customs/Admin Fees ?

Yes, we do accept returns and exchanges, but for that the buyer needs to respect a few conditions : - Inform us of that intention up to 3 days after receiving the item. - The item needs to be dispatched within 14 days after receiving the item. - Once the product is received it will be checked/verified and if everything is OK we will issue a refund. - The item needs to be returned in the original box. To the refund we will deduct the following : - in case the item or the box shows any damage, we will deduct the cost necessary to fix the item and replace the original box. - Costs of Customs and admin fees(20,00€) - All costs, regarding returns, are from the responsibility of the buyer.

In some situations we offer free shipping in our deals. If you decide to return your product we will charge the cost of shipping deducting from the your refund. If you require an exchange, the shipment cost will be of the buyer responsibility, it will not be for free. Any doubts, feel free to ask.
