These gorgeous, square, solid sterling silver, hammered studs are handmade in the UK, using traditional silversmithing techniques. They are hammered to create an effect that catches the light, saw pierced, filed and soldered by hand.

They come as a pair of earrings and are made to order. The silver studs have scroll backs to keep them in place.

The studs are in a square design, measuring 6mm x 6mm.

The studs complies with the UK Assay Office Hallmarking regulations. The sterling silver weighs below 7.78g and therefore does not require Hallmarking.

Care

All of my rings, pendants and earrings are handmade using solid sterling silver. Over time, and in certain circumstances it is possible (and perfectly normal) for sterling silver jewellery to tarnish and gradually turn black. This is easily rectified by polishing your jewellery with a polishing cloth (readily available in supermarkets and online) or alternatively, using a soft toothbrush with washing up liquid (or even a microfibre cloth). This will bring the silver back up to a beautiful silver shine.

To keep your jewellery looking it’s best please avoid water, cleaning chemicals, and perfumes.

Hand crafted

All of my jewellery is hand made by me, in my little home studio. Sterling silver (and sometimes gold) sheet, wire and grain is purchased from reputable UK bullion dealers, and I solder, pierce, hammer, melt, stamp to form and make the jewellery. Each piece is made to order just for you. Any pieces of silver jewellery that weighs over 7.78g must legally be sent to an Assay office for hallmarking.
