Some of us are sewing masks & protective covering. Some of us are 3D printing night and day. We all wanted to do what we can to make a difference. We need to recognise the hard work Makers have done in the effort to save lives of our front line workers.

I designed this 1.25'' X 1.25'' medallion to put on my 3D printer and I thought others may want one too. I made sure it was about the size of a quarter so it could be mounted on sewing machines as well as any 3D printer. I want people to be proud when they go to their machine they can remember when push came to shove, some of us shoved back.

Medalion is 1.25'' X 1.25'' it also honors the artist Julian Hoke Harris work Keep Away Death.

The medallion has a 3M backing so it can be mounted to almost any surface.

I bought the medallion for my treadle sewing machine, "This machine fought Covid". It is a lovely piece of art. It's even better in person than the picture. And it arrived quickly, with a handwritten note. I couldn't have asked for anything better. Now I have to decide where to stick it on the machine.

Made so many masks during COVID I lost count. This beautifully wrought medallion was a great way to celebrate and memorialize the community service offered by sewing masks. The image of pushing away the scythe of the grim reaper was very touching to me.
