Sodium Dithionite also known as Hydros is a well known oxygen reducing agent used in Indigo and Woad dye vats such to reduce the oxygen and enable the indigo to work in the dye vat. It is an alternative to the other Oxygen reducer know as Thiox or Spectralite, which functions in the same way.
