Hand Rubbed Finish

Hand turned and hand finished drop spindle. These are turned on my lathe and are not toy wheels as some other auctions. These are from solid Jatoba from reclaimed lumber. This is a multiple item listing and spindles have a weight of between 24 and 25 grams, a 2 1/4" diameter whorl and is on a 1/4" 7 1/4 inch long hardwood shaft. As with all my items these have been tested by my wife how is an avid spinner and knitter. Last picture sent from one of my great customers. Whorl does not include roving. Any doubts check my feedback!

These items are hand made from natural wood - wood has it's own grain and colorations. We hand sand each item with several different grits of sandpaper. Finally, each item receives hand applied finishes and then they are air dried on a non-stick surface, to bring out the beauty of the wood and designs. Fiber is not included
