Make your own detailed hand embroidered wall art with this in depth PDF embroidery pattern. Stitch your own version of my popular “In the Land of Mordor” Tolkien based map design, perfect for hoop art, framed décor, or as a standout fantasy inspired gift.

Skill Level: Intermediate

This pattern is best suited to stitchers who already have experience with a range of embroidery stitches. You should be comfortable working with multiple stitch types and finer line details.

You can use whatever colours and stitch styles you like to create your own individual piece. The pattern includes colour and stitch guidance supported by photographic and digitally drawn visual aids, along with the exact stitches used in the original so you can closely match the finished look or customise it.

The design was originally created for a 6 inch hoop. A pre sized 6 inch template is included, along with a resizable high resolution bitmap file so you can scale the pattern to whatever hoop size you prefer.

For best transfer accuracy, printing onto water soluble stabiliser is strongly recommended.

Great pattern! I definitely recommend printing the pattern on water soluble stabilizer because it's super intricate, but it was super fun to stitch and I love how it turned out :) I will definitely be back go purchase other patterns by this creator in the future!
