The pattern requires an INTERMEDIATE knowledge of crochet techniques, & is written in standard US terminology. The pattern does require use of some unusual techniques and is not suited for beginner crocheters (unless you're feeling very adventurous!). There is a video tutorial to help you get started in the pattern not section.

Pattern includes full written instructions, a cheat sheet of row and stitch counts (2 PDFS included with download!), helpful photos and links to video tutorials for stitches and techniques.

Materials Needed:
5 skeins of Shibui Pebble in "Velvet"
Or roughly 1,120 yards of similar lace (or light fingering) weight yarn (including 3 tassels)
H/5.0 mm crochet hook
Scissors
Yarn needle
Optional: Removable stitch marker

an object to wrap yarn around
(I use a 4x4" coaster)

65.5" across top edge
