I used warp thread waxed thread in the necklace. the beads are all glass indian beads. The metal in front of it is a special casting. it does not touch your skin. Therefore, it does not cause allergies. Knitting threads consist of gray and shades. It makes an incredible difference to this necklace.

It took a whole week worth of working hours to make this beautiful and unique necklace. The necklace is actually constituted of two separate pieces -the main part that sits on your chest and the neck parts that holds the main part. These two pieces were woven separately and combined later on with a special Turkish weaving technique -Kaytan.

Each necklace is made by hand on a simple loom of foam core and bank pins. After stringing the warp threads onto the pins, beads (if any) are added to the warp and the in-and-out of weaving begins. A needle threaded with embroidery thread or other accent thread is used for the weft. Depending on the pattern, beads, and thread colors chosen, the weavings are very unique and have a nice feel to them when worn.

* All metal components of the necklace are specially cast for this necklace only. The big beads I use are made of glass.
* This necklace consists of shades of black, white and gray.
