DECOUPAGE PAPER GUIDE

RICE PAPER/MULBERRY: Thickness - 25-30 gm/2. Extra fine weight paper with fibers. Suitable for all surfaces. Works best on light backgrounds, subtle finish. Dampen edges of image and tear rather than cut for best effect.

RICE PAPER/XUAN: Thickness - Thickness 25-30gm/2. Extra fine weight paper but unlike Mulberry Rice Paper is super smooth with no fibers. Suitable for all surfaces. Image edges can be cut with scissors or damp and tear. Also suitable for calligraphy and Japanese painting.

DECOUPAGE SOFT: Thickness - 40gm/2. Extra fine weight Paper with subtle semi translucent finish. Suitable for all surfaces. Cut images with scissors, requires less varnish than the other papers due to super sleek texture. Color saturation and image definition is greater than mulberry rice paper which is more subtle.

DECOUPAGE CLASSIC: Thickness - 60gm/2. Fine Weight paper similar weight to fine wrapping paper with Semi Gloss finish. Suitable for all surfaces. Cut images with scissors. Dense color saturation and image definition.

DECOUPAGE SATIN: Thickness - 100 gm/2. Standard Weight Paper with very subtle satin sheen. Cut images with scissors. Suitable for all surfaces. Of all the papers this has the greatest degree of color saturation and definition as such it is ideal for decoupage, scrapbooking and use as art prints.

SCRAPBOOKING: Thickness - 140 - 200 gm/2 Mid Weight Paper. Mid weight paper more suited to scrapbooking and Tag Making.

ART PRINT: All Art Prints Are Printed On 300 gm/2 Quality Matt Card Stock.
