The electric blue (cobalt blue) carnival glass finish is vibrant and filled with iridescence. The blue carnival glass finish is one of the scarce of the colors. Every surface on this blue carnival glass celery vase is bursting with a rainbow of iridescence. In bright light, purples & pinks are prominent on the blue glass.
The inverted strawberry pattern is also referred to as “intaglio” pattern as the pattern is inverted and not in relief, as typical carnival glass. The strawberry pattern is highly detailed with strawberry seeds, leaves, and small flowers. This intaglio strawberry pattern is even found on the bottom of the celery vase. The edge is romantically scalloped for a softer touch as well.
