Nine (9) inch Iridescent Leaded Glass Tree Topper: This Moravian 12 point star has a glass tube to help support it on the tree with additional wire should it be needed. A strong tree branch is necessary due to the weight.

Most open center stars can be made into a tree topper for an additional expense. If you are interested in one that isn’t already a tree topper, feel free to contact me.

Iridescent glass has the look of oil on water, it is shown off best with light reflecting off of it, as with table lamp lighting rather than through it, as in overhead lighting.

Shipping is costly due to the size of the box required to surround the star with peanuts. I use bio-degradable peanuts because I use so much, unfortunately they have an odor. I am not charging for any of the shipping materials. All stars are sent Priority to limit time bumping over road. All items are insured. Occassionally an item is damaged. If that should happen, please retain all packaging along with the item and notify me asap so that I can file a claim for you. I will need your phone number in case the post office wants to contact you to see the package. I will need photos of the break and package. If the post office wants to see the package there is a limited time frame when they will no longer recognize the claim. If that is the situation, I will NOT be able to help you either. Because I have sent a new tree topper in the past before the insurance settlement has been paid and the buyer has not carried through with the post office. I can no longer give that courtesy. For that I am very sorry. You can purchase a new star and when the insurance pays, I will refund your money.

General Information:

Please be careful not to torque or pinch glass while unwrapping or handling your new piece of stained glass. Do not pull wrapping apart but cut with scissors. It’s best to balance piece in the palm of your hand, the cantilevered pieces are very fragile.

Panels are best kept upright or vertical.

Be sure to wash your hands after handling as it’s leaded.

To clean your glass, mild dish soap is best. Oxidation of lead can be corrected with glass wax.

Although very durable, it’s probably wise to replace the mono-filament yearly as it gets brittle and stretches in the sun. .A surgeon’s knot is recommended as a strong knot.

Enjoy your stained glass, it can be an heirloom if handled gently.

DAMAGED ITEM:

Please leave me your phone number if you purchase a stained glass panel as UPS requires it for shipping.
Please inspect the item as soon as possible. If damaged, keep all packaging and contact me immediately. I can not be responsible for any breakage after 2 days of receiving the item. A claim needs to be filed and proof that the item was securely packed. I will need you to email photos of breakage and packaging to me, I will also need your phone number. No refunds will be given until the insurance claim is finalized. USPS has been requiring seeing the item and wrapping in 20 days and denying if request is not met. Let me help!
