Large Fox Tail Agave Plant (Agave Attenuata)

The Fox Tail Agave has wide, handsome leaves with no spines or thorns. When mature, each rosette can grow up to 8' high and 8' wide. A tall, vertical flower stalk resembling a fox tail may emerge, attracting pollinators. This evergreen plant is very easy to grow, drought-resistant, virtually disease-free, and thrives even in poor soil.

Plant will be shipped bare root, without soil or pots. Growing instructions are included.

Please note that the leaves of Agave Attenuata are very delicate, and although the greatest care is used in packaging, some leaves may become damaged or broken during shipping and handling. You may trim off the damaged leaves as you like. As the plant settles to its new surroundings, new leaves will open, slowly replacing the damaged ones, which will dry out and fall off underneath the plant.

Succulent Care

Succulents require well-draining soil, such as cactus mix. Allow your new plants to recover from shipping and adjust to their new home by providing bright, indirect light. Gradually transition into morning or dappled light, and into full, direct sun, within a space of weeks to months, depending on your climate.

Water fully, but allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. You can check for moisture by digging an inch into the soil with your finger.
