Four medium-sized confit pots - available individually or together with a significant discount.
These vintage & antique earthenware pots dating from the early 1900s, often earlier, were traditionally used for preserving cooked meats in the days before refrigeration and freezing. The pots are solid and chunky with a fat, sturdy handle. The interiors are glazed cream or white, the outside glaze colour varies.
Nowadays, these pots can be put to a variety of uses; storage for kitchen utensils, pens and scissors, planter for kitchen herbs, beer tankard ...
Pots 1-3 are in excellent condition, pot 4 has a hairline crack showing on the interior, not visible from the outside, see the last photo.
