0 out of 5 starsIf I had a do-over, I'd skip it. This is a heavy toy (2 lbs.). The slot at the top accepts items larger than can pass through the bottom. You may need to take it apart to retrieve items. The hole at the bottom is not sanded smooth. This could result in splinters, but more importantly, it makes it difficult to remove the cap. There is no way a young person can remove it themselves, meaning a kid can't put stuff in and dump it out continuously without adult intervention. I replaced the plug with a more flexible rubber plug which comes out easily but stays in place otherwise. Also, the exit hole is directly below the top slot so when you put coins in you can't see them inside until you've put in enough to fill the hole at the bottom. The exit port should be at the back or offset from the top slot. Ok piggy bank, not a great toy.
