This shampoo bar starts with a strong herbal tea made with the herbs nettle, oatstraw and horsetail, and a blend of luxurious oils - olive, palm, shea butter, organic cold pressed neem and castor for a rich, sudsy lather. Manuka honey hi-active 16+ from New Zealand adds softness to the hair, and essential oils tea tree, rosemary and patchouli provide an earthy scent.

Using a bar shampoo may be a new idea to you, but it's really very simple. You just wet your hair and rub the bar around in it until you get the lather you want (this one lathers up beautifully!). Using the fingertips, massage into the scalp and leave on while you finish your shower. Rinse out completely. If you normally use conditioner, apply it on the hair avoiding the scalp area. An apple cider rinse following the bar shampoos aids with manageability and leaves the hair soft and beautifully shiny and full. Apple cider vinegar removes build-up from the hair and restores a proper pH to the scalp. My scalp feels so healthy with this rinse, I do it after every shampoo. To do the rinse, put 1-2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup and add approximately 8 oz. of warm water from the shower. Rinse immediately or leave on the scalp while you finish your shower and then rinse out completely. You may smell the vinegar in the shower, but once your hair is dry, the vinegar smell will dissipate. You may find that with the rinse, you no longer need to use conditioner. I have struggled with itchy scalp for most of my adult life and since using this shampoo bar, my scalp has never felt healthier.
